What a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong 30+ hours! Beau and I left the hotel in Guangzhou Friday morning at 5:30am (Thursday @ 1:30pm Pacific Standard Time) and got into San Francisco at 9am PST on Friday = 20.5 hours of traveling.

Havensong was amazing. She had her fussy moments but for the most part she was one awesome baby girl! I counted about 50 laps around the whole airplane in her Snugli when she was fussy but hey, walking around an airplane at 35,000 feet with a smiling baby is better than the alternative.

Once we passed through customs in San Francisco, Havensong became a permanent U.S. resident. We have to re-adopt her (very simply process) for her to get U.S. citizenship. It was a very exciting moment for me when they stamped her Chinese passport - ADMITTED.

We were supposed to fly to New York today due to the short notice I had to make the travel arrangements. We would have had a 7 hour flight tomorrow back to San Francisco but the Lord came through with a huge prayer request the night before we were to leave China by having two cancelations for us to fly straight into San Francisco. We still got stuck in San Fran overnight but this wasn't such a bad thing so that we could go straight to the hotel and rest up for the big day tomorrow when we finally fly home.

I have been up 31 hours (besides the 2 hour nap I took with Havensong this afternoon) and feel numb. They say coming back is way worse than going and I am starting to feel it. I am making myself stay up until about 10 tonight to try and get my clock realigned stateside.

Beau and Havensong are old cold. So much for banging the pots at midnight to ring in the New Year but we'll make up for it at the airport when Havensong is finally home.

Wow... hard to believe Beau and I have been here for 2 weeks already. It's one of those weird feelings of the time went so quick and yet it seems like we've been gone forever.

Our new friends, Tony and his mom Jun Yi, picked us up at the hotel at 10am this morning. They wanted us to come over to their house for one last meal with them before leaving China.

Tony lives on the top floor of an apartment complex in the heart of Guangzhou. The views of the city from his balcony were amazing. His father, Mr. Pan, has a tea hut on the balcony and treated us to some amazing tea while we waited for lunch. Tony's aunt had been cooking for hours and you could smell the goodness even outside.

When it was time for lunch I couldn't believe the feast they set before us. WOW!!!! We had beef, duck, shrimp, crab, flounder, traditional Chinese vegetables, soup, and squid. It was awesome having lunch and fellowship with our new friends in China.

Lunch was short because we had to get back to the hotel by 12:15 to get Havensong's passport. With passport now in hand, we can head home tomorrow.

Beau and I took Havensong for a walk around Guangzhou and got some last minute things like formula for Havensong. We grabbed some dinner and headed back to the room to pack.

I gave Havensong her last bath in the sink of the hotel room and then we went down the hall so Havensong could say goodbye to her Yangzi orphanage sister, Olivia. I hope she stays in touch with Olivia over the years. Great to have that connection.

Havensong is in bed, Beau is finishing a movie, and I am typing my last blog in China. This has been such an amazing journey. I can't believe tomorrow I am actually bringing Havensong home. I can't wait to introduce her to her new sisters, her brother, her grandparents, her aunts and uncles, her cousins, her church, her new friends.

But mostly, I can't wait to place her in the arms of her Mommy...

Had a rough night with Havensong. She still has some congestion and kept waking herself coughing. I might have got 3 hours sleep. Thankfully today we got the right medication and befriended a doctor and his wife (also adopting) to know what the correct dosages are so I am hoping Havensong (and Beau and I) get our first good nights rest tonight. It is pretty common for Chinese orphans to have small ailments. Can't wait to get Havensong home.

Today was a fun day at the zoo. Rebecca had our ride ready to go at 9:30 and we were at the zoo when it opened at 10am. The Guangzhou Zoo was very impressive. Lots of pictures to check out.

It was a sunny day at 75 degrees. What is so funny though is how the Chinese dress since it's "winter" here. Remember, today was 75 degrees out. Granted, it's not the 100+ degrees/100% humidity they have in the summer but it's still 75 degrees and sunny. Yet they dress their kids now like it's winter in Fargo, North Dakota. The older women just stare at me as if I am a horrible father because Havensong is in ONE jacket and not 2-3 plus blankets. Most kids look like walking sleeping bags with arms.

After the zoo, we spent the rest of the day at the hotel. I turned in the camera we send to the orphanage to be developed. I can't wait to pick up the pictures tomorrow and see Havensong when she was younger. We spent the rest of the day Skyping with Mommy, hanging out with some of our new adoption friends (great picture of Havensong and one of her Yangzi sisters, Olivia, in the pictures section) and getting ready for the trip home. We have another day here but I have already started getting some things packed and ready roll. One more day and the long journey home begins.

Today was a very simple but important day. The only thing on the agenda was to hang around the room and wait for a very important phone call. The phone call announcing that our paperwork all checked out good with the American consulate and that we've been given permission to adopt Havensong. On Dec. 20th, we got the approval from China but today it's official with the U.S.

The reason you have to wait the day in your hotel room is just in case something isn't right with the paperwork. In this case, your liaison would pick you up at the hotel and work with you to try and resolve any problems. But thankfully, our paperwork was all in order and we were given the "Uncle Sam" stamp of approval.

So, after receiving the good news, we had the rest of the day to just chill in the room with Havensong. She has been a little under the weather with some congestion problems and we got our hands on some children's decongestant and it's working awesome. Havensong took a 2-hour nap without waking herself up with coughing or stuffy nose - a first since we've been here.

During her nap, Beau and I watched Monday Night Football on Tuesday afternoon. That's weird...

After her nap, Havensong was able to meet Michelle's sisters Jodi & Jesse, Michelle's Dad - Papa Mick, Brittany & Joel, and her new cousins via Skype. We also spent a good hour or so Skyping with Mommy.

At 2:30, we met in the lobby of the hotel to head to the U.S. consulate to take our adoption oath. Officially Havensong's parents now! Whew... now we can start looking forward to heading home. Two more days to go.

To celebrate the day, Beau and I treated ourselves to a couple of footlongs at Subway for dinner. Yum!

For some reason, the tradition once receiving your child in China is to make it over to the White Swan hotel and get a picture on the big red couch. What I found so odd was after getting to the hotel, not many of the employees knew what I was talking about when asking where the red couch was. Beau and I must have spend 15-20 minutes searching the hotel for the couch but finally found it. Actually nothing too spectacular but when in Rome, right? We snapped the picture and then spend an hour or so exploring Shamian Island.

The White Swan hotel is on Shamian Island. The White Swan hotel is a very popular place for adoptive parents to stay when coming to Guangzhou. All Chinese adoptions are finalized in Guangzhou. One reason for the popularity of the hotel is because it is adjacent to the United States consulate, making it convenient to file paperwork and handle bureaucratic matters.

Shamian Island is a small sandbank island in the Liwan District of Guangzhou. The island's name literally means "sandy surface" in Chinese. The territory was divided into two concessions given to France and the United Kingdom by the Qing Dynasty government in the 19th century. Shamian Island was an important port for Guangzhou's foreign trade from the Song to the Qing Dynasty. It's a really amazing place.

The other item on my check list was to find Havensong a pair of squeaky shoes. These are the traditional shoes infants wear in China and they literally squeak when walked in. (Like the Lindsey home needs any more noise!) I found a cute pink pair. I also found Havensong the cutest traditional Chinese jacket for a keepsake.

Beau and I found the nicest Starbucks we've ever been to on Shamian Island and took the opportunity to take a break with a Venti Iced Carmel Macchiato. Yum!!!

After a few hours of sightseeing it was time to head back to the hotel.

Today was a free day. It was so nice not to have any paperwork or appointments. Good thing too because Havensong was a little fussy during the night. And of course, she was up at 6:30 ready for a diaper change and bottle. She obviously doesn't know she's a Lindsey yet.

After feeding Havensong, we were able to Skype with Michelle and the kids and the Beede family. Michelle and the kids went over to the Beede's for Christmas dinner. Havensong was the hit of the party. Skype has been so amazing over here. I also downloaded the Skype app to my iPhone and can make phone calls for a very low cost. I can't imagine doing all of this 10 years ago with none of this awesome technology.

Beau and I finally got smart and decided to do breakfast in shifts. Havensong is a great little girl but she is a busy body. She won't sit in a highchair because it restricts her investigation of her surroundings. She wants to look, touch, and be moving. PRAYER REQUEST: 25 hours of traveling on the 31st and 1st. Be praying for Havensong to sleep, sleep, sleep!!! :-)

After breakfast, Rebecca had a van pick us and the Catoe family up for an afternoon of sightseeing and shopping. Main stop today was the jade market. Michelle really wanted me to get Havensong a jade necklace while here in China. The jade market was amazing. There were literally hundreds of jade and pearl stores in a huge mall area.

After finding a jade necklace for Havensong it was time for the Catoe family to buy their daughter some clothes and shoes. Their daughter is 4 years old and had been in the same clothes and shoes since leaving her orphanage. You should have seen her getting her new shoes. She was the proudest little girl in China. She got the kind with the flashing lights in the heels. She wanted to walk all over China after getting her shoes. It was precious.

We got back to the hotel, fed Havensong, and put her down for her afternoon nap. Beau stayed at the hotel while I ran across the street to find Havensong some socks at the mall. She is always pulling off her socks. 8-10 times a day, Beau and I look down and there she is with one or no socks on. She has one pair with some good elastic that she can't pull off so my goal was to find a few more pairs. After searching the mall high and low, I found the one pack of socks with some good elastic. Now we have backup!

After a quick stop at Starbucks to surprise Beau with a java chip Frappaccino it was back to the hotel where we spent the rest of the day. Havensong is happiest in the room and we like it when Havensong is happy. :-)

Merry Christmas from Guangzhou! I am used to getting up at the crack of dawn on Christmas to tend to excited children wanting to tear into their presents but this is the first Christmas where I was awoken at the crack of dawn by a tearful baby wanting a diaper change and bottle.

Havensong was ready to start the day at 5:45am. So, I guess I was too.

After a little bit it was time to wake Beau up to get ready for our busy day. Today we had to get Havensong's passport photo, physical exams, and complete all the adoption and travel documentation.

At breakfast, it hit Beau that today was Christmas. Obviously, China does not celebrate Christmas so the day seemed a bit off. It really made me appreciate Christmas with the family. The excitement of the morning, the presents, the smiling faces, the memories, and celebration of the birth of the Savior. Although this Christmas the Lindsey family got one of the greatest gifts ever, our little Havensong, I know from here on out I will appreciate the holiday season more than ever. Funny how we take things for granted and don't realize how precious traditions with family are until you don't have them.

After breakfast, it was time to meet two of the families we will be spending the next week with. They are in the same stage of the adoption as we are and so we will be completing the next few days of adoption processing together. I got to talking with one of the ladies, Tammi Mayer (maiden name), who lives in China with her husband teaching English at an academy. Turns out, she went to the same high school in Battleground, WA as Michelle. Michelle is a bit older but she knew Michelle's sisters. Can you believe that!? (Can't wait to tell this story to our good friend Malissa Waterford.)

Havensong got her physical exam and was proclaimed a healthy baby girl. She is now a little over 16 pounds and 28 inches. Small for 13 months but healthy nonetheless. Now back to the hotel to spend 2 hours going through all the paperwork we need in order for next week. Thank God for Rebecca (our adoption liaison), she has been sooooooooo helpful.

With the paperwork done and in order it was time to celebrate and have a Christmas dinner. The two other couples suggested Pizza Hut for dinner. I never thought I would ever have a Christmas dinner at Pizza Hut but in a small way it made Beau and I feel a bit like we were home.

This Christmas is so special because we have Havensong now but as I write this, Michelle, Tayler, Autumn, and Chase are at home sleeping. Soon they will get up in their new Christmas pajamas, have our traditional cheese grits for breakfast, gather in the living room where our tree and decorations fill the room, and open Christmas presents. I would give anything to be there right now.

Merry Christmas Michelle. Merry Christmas Tayler. Merry Christmas Autumn. Merry Christmas Chase. I love and miss you all so much.

Today was a very important day. We took the trip south to visit Havensong’s orphanage in Yangzi.

Rebecca had a driver pick us up at the hotel at 8am for the 3 hour drive. We discovered something within 15 minutes of the trip. Havensong does not like to be in cars. I think she cried for about 5 hours of the 6 hour round trip. Good thing she is sooooooo cute. Beau was so thankful for the new over-the-ear headphones he got at the electronics market in Guangzhou a few days ago!

We got to the orphanage around noon. The directors and caregivers were so excited to see Havensong. It was quite the joyous reunion. After being passed around to the various employees at the orphanage it was time for our tour.

The orphanage was impeccably clean. Thankfully Havensong was raised in a very small orphanage. There were only about 20 children there. The director of the orphanage did not want us filming or taking pictures of the other children in the orphanage. She agreed to let us see where Havensong’s crib was and we were able to take pictures of Havensong in the crib. She seemed quite comfortable in the crib when we placed her in it; almost like being with an old friend. I’m just so glad she doesn’t have to spend her days in that crib anymore.

Before leaving I interviewed the orphanage director for as much information as I could get and found out that Havensong was raised by foster parents for the first 3 months of her life. This is typical when a child has been abandoned in China. Foster parents are able to focus specifically on the child’s needs before being given to the orphanage where the child will be with many other children. I am thankful Havensong received this extra attention when she needed it most.

After taking some photos of the orphanage and seeing a bit more of the facility it was time to head to the restaurant where Havensong had been abandoned on November 21, 2009. The orphanage gave us a copy of the newspaper article posted in the Yangzi newspaper announcing the details of her abandonment. This is required by law; in hopes of finding information about the mother.

Havensong was abandoned early in the morning in front of the restaurant. The street she was abandoned on is a very busy street on the outskirts of town. Someone saw her wrapped up in a blanket and called the police. After taking pictures of the exact spot where she was left, we decided to have lunch at the restaurant. Yangzi is famous throughout China for their oysters so in tribute to Havensong we had a bowl of oysters.

Today was a full day. Our dear friend Grace from Singapore met us at the hotel at 10am. Grace's friend, Jun Yi, and son, Tony, picked all of us up and we were off to see Guangzhou. Guangzhou is the 3rd largest city in China. If you include the outskirts of the city the population is over 12,000,000. Guangzhou used to be called Canton.

One of the questions Beau and I had while walking around the city near our hotel was, "Where are all the children?" Well, today we got our answer. There are parks all throughout Guangzhou and this is where moms and grandmas take their kids/grandkids to play and get some fresh air. One of the places we stopped today had one of these parks. There were cute little Chinese toddlers all over the place.

The park was near our 1st destination for the day - the Chen Ancestral Hall. What an amazing place. It was a center of cultural arts for the Lingnan area for centuries. There was all sorts of traditional Chinese arts on display and I found a great souvenir for my office. Be sure and look at the pictures for today at the "Pictures" section of this site.

For lunch we were taken to an unbelievable restaurant where we had our own bungalow for our Cantonese food feast. Grace's friend, Jun Yi, treated us to this amazing meal. When we first walked into the restaurant I thought we were in an aquarium. You literally pick from the 20-30 tanks what kind of fish you would like to eat. Not only fish but they had frog, eel, snake, turtle, lobster, crab, sea urchins, and more. Beau and I were a little nervous but it turned out being one of the best meals I have ever had.

After lunch, we went to the tea district of the city. There were literally city blocks full of all the tea traders in Guangzhou. I'm not much of a tea drinker but had a blast trying many different kinds of tea. I bought a tea set and some various types of tea. We all sat down with the lady owner of one of the shops and got a brief tutorial on the art of making and serving tea. I'm starting to like tea...

We got back to the hotel at around 5pm. Havensong was such a good girl during all of today's activities but was definitely ready to get into her pajamas.

Thanks Grace, Jun Yi, and Tony for a great day!

Tomorrow we are going to drive 4 hours south to Havensong's orphanage.

The big task today was to head over to the police headquarters for Guangzhou and apply for Havensong's Chinese passport and travel visa. Obviously, she will need these to travel back to the U.S. on Dec. 31st. After entering customs in New York though, she will be an American citizen.

We met Rebecca at 10am and drove over to the police headquarters where 8-10 other families were also waiting for their appointments to get their adopted children the proper travel documents.

Everything went great and we were heading back to the hotel within an hour.

Havensong was in a great mood so we decided to head to the super market to get her more of the formula she's been drinking since her time at the orphanage. The first super market we went to didn't have the right brand so we were able to get directions to a real local market. What an amazing place. Be sure and look at the pictures for today in the pictures section of the site.

After finally finding the formula and rice cereal for Havensong (and a ton of great junk food and snacks for the hotel room) we were on our way back to the hotel to wait for our dear friend Grace.

Grace and Stephen Lim are great friends who live in Singapore. Grace grew up in Guangzhou and decided to come and visit us. She flew in from Singapore today. Grace took us out for an amazing Cantonese dinner tonight. Beau and I ate things I never thought I would ever put in my mouth but it was actually a pretty amazing dinner.

Grace is going to take us all over Guangzhou tomorrow to see the side of the city that only the locals know about. Beau and I are most excited about trying more local food.

I gave Havensong a bath tonight. What a cutie. She had a blast in the bathroom sink and now has that amazing Johnson & Johnson baby wash smell. After a bottle, and prayer, I put Havensong to bed. She was out in no time. And I am soon to follow...

It was just me, Havensong, and a government official. A very big office, one very clean desk, and the Chinese flags behind her on the wall and on her desk. She asked me why Michelle and I wanted to adopt and if we would raise her well and never abandon her. I silently prayed that my answers were to ones she was looking for. After a 5-10 minute time of questions about our family, our parenting, and our aspirations for Havensong, she signed the documents.

With China’s approval, Havensong is ours!

On the way back to the hotel, I asked Rebecca where the best place might be to get a new, cheap, digital camera. The little Nikon I brought has always caused problems: not focusing, not zooming, etc. So, I wanted to make sure I get as many good photos as possible while here so it was time to get a new camera. Rebecca called her husband, the electronics buff, and he suggested the “Electronics Market” of Guangzhou.

When we got there, I thought Beau was going to die. He had never seen some many electronics shops - literally hundreds in a few city blocks. Audio/Video equipment, audiophile stuff, cameras, speakers, etc. I wanted a cheap Panasonic and so after a few stores and Rebecca’s bartering in Chinese I was able to score a great little Panasonic camera for about $175 - half the price at Amazon.com right now. I wish we could barter at Best Buy or Costco.

Beau was in need of some new headphones too so we asked the camera store if they knew where we could get some and after being told to sit down for a few minutes, someone showed up with a few headphone options. Beau picked a pair of really nice Sony DJ headphones for $25! When we got back to the hotel room and checked Amazon.com, we couldn’t believe our good fortune: normally $125! Beau was one happy camper. He actually fell asleep with them on tonight.

After getting back to the hotel, we played with Havensong, took a nap, and I got to change my first Havensong poopy diaper. I forgot that cute little babies make stinky little presents. Oh well, I figure I owe Michelle a few on the Daddy vs. Mommy official diaper change count.

In the evening we went the mall across the street to find a few mixing bowls for Havensong’s formula and cereal, stopped at Starbucks, and hit the local 7-11 to get some snacks. Havensong was fussy the whole time but as soon as we got to the room, changed her and gave her some toys, she was a happy girl once again.

I gave Havensong a bottle for dinner, put her in some cute pink pajamas, prayed with her and put her in bed. I knew today the Lindsey family's life would change forever.

I woke Beau up around 9am so we could go down and have breakfast.

After breakfast, Rebecca (our adoption liaison) met us at our room to go through all the paperwork we would need to bring to the civil affairs office today in order to get Havensong. I was very nervous because one missing piece of paperwork or something not notarized or signed properly could delay our adoption for weeks. Rebecca went through our paperwork for today and next week's visa application and announced, "Everything looks great. You and Michelle did a great job!" Whew... what a load off my shoulders. Now I could concentrate on meeting my little girl for the first time.

Rebecca left the room to tend to a few other adopting families. Beau and I now had to wait 2 hours before heading over to the civil affairs office.

It was the longest 2 hours of my life!

FINALLY, it was 2:30pm. Time to meet Rebecca in the hotel lobby and head over the the civil affairs office. After about a 10 minute car ride, we were finally there.

We went to the 8th floor of a huge office building and found ourselves waiting with about 10-15 other families who were waiting for their children to arrive too. Havensong had about a 3 hour car ride today from her orphanage, south of Guangzhou.

Beau and I mingled with some of the families talking about our long waits and the disbelief that it was almost over. The children arrive from various orphanages throughout the area and are held in a room called “The Playroom” where they wait with their orphanage directors. Our director was Lady Zeng and little did I know she was counseling Rebecca on Havensong’s fear of strangers and to be prepared for Havensong to not be too happy when she is handed to me.

After about 15 minutes talking with the other families, Rebecca interrupted us to announce that they were ready to give us Havensong. I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest! I was about to meet my baby girl for the very first time. I told Beau to fire up the camcorder and stood by the entrance to “The Playroom.”

After what seemed like an eternity, Lady Zeng emerged with the most precious and beautiful little girl ever born in China. My baby girl Havensong. They handed her to me and all the doubt, all the paperwork, all the stress, and all the waiting was totally worth it. Havensong was finally ours. She just stared at Beau and I as I held her. Who in the world were these weird looking people that had traveled half way across the world to rescue her?

Lady Zeng stared in disbelief because Havensong didn’t cry. She didn’t even try to get out of my arms and back into the familiar arms of the lady who raised her. After a minute or so she actually rested her head on my face as if to say, “You’re finally here. I’m safe. I can rest. I belong.” I was now a bawling mess. Even the tallest and biggest guy in the whole room, Havensong’s big brother Beau, was teared up pretty good.

As I wrapped my arms around her, I thought about home. We finally have Havensong.

Havensong Eleanor Joy Lindsey... welcome to our family. Your family.

We love you so very much.

(Go to the pictures section of this website to see the pictures from today.)

Beau and I took it easy today. For some reason I couldn't sleep last night. Went to bed at 3am and got up at 6am. So, I got caught up on work email and then Skyped with a few buddies. Got to Skype with my good friend Stephen Lim who lives in Singapore. His wife is from this city - Guangzhou. Skype is so awesome to have over here. Had to buy some credits to use it over here but it sure is way cheaper then long distance phone calls. I was also able to find a free iPhone texting app so Michelle and I have been able to text while I am in the room via WiFi. So far, the only websites I found blocked over here are Facebook and Blogspot.

Breakfast at the hotel - The Garden Hotel - was amazing this morning. I have never seen a bigger breakfast buffet in my life. Outside the usual America breakfast fare they had Chinese and Japanese eats. Beau was in his element piling his plate a few times. We both got back to the room and had to take a breather.

Beau Skyped a few friends and then we went to find the local super market to get our snacks and lunch stuff. Things are more expensive here then I expected so we are trying to cheap it out a bit and eat as much as we can in the room. We have a frig and a water boiler so we loaded up on cup of noodles and stuff like it.

There are shops galore across the street. Fancy stores like Gucci, Rolex, Fendi, etc. Not going to do much shopping around here. Can't wait to find the local markets and experience local, authentic culture. It's on the itinerary for later in the week.

Beau and I had a great meal for dinner. We randomly picked a restaurant and spent a good 10 minutes trying to pick something to eat. The Chinese food we have in the States is not the options they have here... duck liver, eel, crab eggs, etc. We wimped out and had a beef dish with mushrooms and mango and a short rib dish with a pineapple/orange sauce. I included a picture of Beau pouring us a couple of glasses of green tea at the bottom of this page.

Well, tomorrow is the big day. Rebecca, our adoption liaison, is meeting us at the hotel tomorrow at 11:30 to go through our adoption paperwork.Pray we have everything correct and ready to go. At 2pm we meet in the Garden Hotel lobby and head over to the civil affairs office to meet Havensong. Promise to post pictures tomorrow of our new baby girl. Can't wait...

Wow... what a long day. We went back to the Chinese consulate yesterday at 2:30pm and they had our visas. We're ready to go.

My niece and nephew, Brittany and Joel, drove out from Sacramento and had dinner with us tonight. It was great seeing them and we are so excited about Brittany's pregnancy.

Well, we are soooooooo tired after the last 48 hours. Our adoption agency told me today that most families have 10-14 days to do what we did in 48 hours. The reason for the rush was they had a slot open for us and we really wanted to get all this done before the end of the year. Beau and I arrive in New York city with Havensong on December 31st @ 5:15pm. God is so good!

We'll fly home from New York on Jan. 01 and I get to introduce Havensong to her Mommy, sisters and brother. So hard to believe the journey is almost over and yet is just beginning.

Goodnight for now.

Today Beau and I were at the Chinese consulate at 9am to get our visas. We gave them all the paperwork they require and were told to come back at 2:30 to hopefully pick them up.

So, Beau and I have walked around San Fran for a few hours. The weather today is awesome. We are now sitting at a Starbucks and I am getting caught up with my work email and Beau is playing with the Christmas present he got early. He got a Korg Kaossilator Pro (http://www.korg.com/product.aspx?pd=564). He actually had a little crowd around him at Starbucks while he demo'd the new gizmo. Beau The Starbucks Performer - I can already see the billboards! Be praying for the customers on the flight tomorrow - they get a DJ for the trip.

Well, I'll sign back in later tonight with hopefully the good news that we were granted our visas and are heading to Beijing in the morning.
